Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Conner Street at Springville Avenue in Porterville

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (October 4, 2022) – Police confirmed a fatality following a pedestrian accident on Conner Street on September 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Springville Avenue shortly after 9:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 53-year-old man was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash. As he was crossing the street, a vehicle came and crashed into him.
 
As a result, the victim suffered severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Sierra View Medical in Porterville, where he later died. Investigators withheld his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. At this point, no other details are available. Also, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
