PASCO, WA (October 4, 2022) – Paramedics transported two people to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into Viera’s Bakery on September 12.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened in the 400 block of 4th Avenue near Lewis Street around 8:00 PM.

Based on a report, a vehicle was driving too fast prior to the crash. As it tried to take a left turn, it slammed right into the bakery.

First responders found three people inside the car, two of whom were unconscious. The third one reportedly ran from the collision and was found by officers near a mini mart on 10th Avenue.

Subsequently, crews rushed the unconscious men to Kadlec Medical Center. However, their condition was not available in the report.

The Pasco Police Department said DUI may be a possible factor in the crash after officers pulled numerous beer cans out of the car. However, an investigation into the case is still ongoing. Also, no other details are available.

Driving under the influence is dangerous and can lead to an accident. Thus, never drink before driving to avoid getting hurt or hurting other people. In addition, follow road regulations at all times.
