SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 4, 2022) – Police identified Timothy Carpenter as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Lombard Street on September 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Steiner Street around 5:20 AM.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim who was in the lanes at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle stopped following the collision.
 
As a result, responding officials said the victim died in the incident. The San Francisco medical examiner’s office identified him as a 52-year-old man.
