Fatal Accident on Montgomery Road near Ellington Street in Houston
HOUSTON, TX (September 20, 2022) – Police confirmed that a man died after falling off a vehicle in an accident in the 9500 block of Montgomery Road.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Ellington Street on September 15.
Based on a report, as the vehicle stopped at a red light, the man grabbed onto it. He reportedly held on it for a couple blocks. However, he fell down the road as it reached Montgomery near Ellington in the Acres Homes area. The driver kept going after the man fell.
As a result, emergency crews transported the man to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police said they don’t have a description of the vehicle that drove away. As of now, an investigation is underway. In addition, there are no other details available.
