SEATTLE, WA (October 25, 2022) – A man suffered critical injuries after a pedestrian accident on 5 Freeway on October 17.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near the University District at Lake City Way around 10:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the pedestrian was walking near the University District prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck him.
 
As a result, the pedestrian – a man in his 30s – sustained major injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported him to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The Seattle Fire Department said the man was in critical condition.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
