Madison Stouard Dies after Three-Vehicle Accident on Highway 92

 
JONES COUNTY, TX (August 22, 2024) — 21-year-old Madison Paige Stouard, of Wichita Falls, died in an accident on Saturday, August 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at 9:20 a.m. on Highway 92, at around 4 miles southwest of Stamford.
 
The initial investigation said that a tanker truck traveled east on Highway 92. Behind it was a Volkswagen SUV driven by Stouard. Then Stouard attempted to pass the tanker and crashed head-on into an oncoming box truck.
 
Emergency responders transported Stouard to a medical center where a doctor pronounced her dead at 10:22 a.m.
 
The tanker driver also received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. Authorities identified the driver as 34-year-old Cody Dixon, also from Wichita Falls.
 
The driver of the box truck sustained non-incapacitating injuries. Paramedics brought him to received Hendrick Medical Center, North. Officials identified him as 23-year-old Bladen George Turnier, of Fort Worth. He was listed in stable condition.
 
Texas DPS said all three drivers wore seat belts.
