RENO, NV (December 1, 2022) – Lydia Reading died after a motorcycle struck her on Kietzke Lane and Firecreek Crossing around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19.

It was confirmed in the investigation by the Reno Police Department that Reading was not in a crosswalk when the oncoming motorcycle hit her near the intersection.

The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 81-year-old Reading from Reno. Responders transported her to a hospital, but she died some time after arriving. According to recorts, she died of blunt force injuries due to the impact of the crash.
