SAN MATEO, CA (December 1, 2022) — Janet Kay Wilson killed while two people were taken to a trauma center in a three-vehicle crash at Bridgepointe Shopping Center on Wednesday afternoon, November 16.

The collision happened at around 12:03 p.m. at the north end of the shopping lot near the Target store, according to the San Mateo Police.

Authorities did not disclose the details leading up to the incident but reported that a pedestrian was involved in the accident.

Willson was among three people seriously injured. However, he died the next day, according to police.

The two others were transported to a local trauma center and were in stable condition as of Thursday, police said.

The cause of the crash and the circumstances behind it remain unknown at this time.
