Motorcyclist Luis Reyes Garcia Identified in Fatal Accident in Tacoma

 
TACOMA, WA (July 19, 2024) – Officials identified 25-year-old Luis Reyes Garcia who died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway on June 29.
 
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened around 7:20 PM. Based on a report, Garcia was driving a motorcycle at a high rate of speed before the crash.
 
When he attempted to change lanes, his motorcycle hit a car, went into another lane, and hit another vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Officials said two other people suffered unknown injuries.
 
WSP, West Pierce Fire, and Washington State Department of Transportation Tacoma responded to the crash scene.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
