Lisa Booth Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Nees Avenue at Peach Avenue in Clovis

 
CLOVIS, CA (January 19, 2023) – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified 56-year-old Lisa Booth as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on Nees Avenue on January 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Peach Avenue shortly after 6:30 AM. Based on a report, Booth was on the south side of Nees Avenue, crossing Peach Avenue in the marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, a small utility van was making a southbound turn onto Peach Avenue. Due to unknown reasons, the van struck Booth.
 
As a result, Booth suffered critical injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to the hospital, where she died.
 
The driver of the van remained at the scene. Police confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to be a factor in the incident.
