Levi Adolph-Collin Struck and Died While in Orchards Crosswalk

 
ORCHARDS, WA (September 2, 2022) – Bicyclist Levi Adolph-Collin from Vancouver died after being hit by an SUV on August 5.

At 5:18 a.m., state police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Northeast 71st Street and State Highway 503.

The Washington State Patrol released an accident report that stated a Lincoln Navigator driven by 65-year-old Robert V. Metcalf of Vancouver was going south on Highway 503, approaching 71st Street when he ran a red light. 

The victim, 24-year-old Adolph-Collin, rode a bicycle east on 71st Street when he was struck by the SUV. He was in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

Adolph-Collin was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, but he was pronounced dead by the medical officer.

Metcalf did not sustain any injuries.

The officials from the police department have not disclosed any additional information.

There were no other motorists and vehicles involved in the accident. Authorities informed that they would continue to investigate the said fatal incident.
