Lenard Coleman Struck and Killed by Two Vehicles on Highway 123 in San Marcos

 
SAN MARCOS, TX (June 25, 2023) – The San Marcos Police Department identified 69-year-old Lenard Green Coleman of Nixon who died in a pedestrian on Highway 123 on June 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened shortly before 1:00 AM. Based on a report, Coleman was on the roadway at the time of the crash.
 
Based on evidence and witness statements, detectives said a delivery truck hit Coleman and fled the scene.
 
Subsequently, a silver SUV from Ebony turned left on the highway and hit the victim.
 
As a result, Coleman suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Police said they already identified the hit-and-run driver but charges are pending as of now.
 
Currently, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
