LUBBOCK, TX (June 25, 2023) – The Lubbock Police Department identified 42-year-old Ezekiel Garcia who died in a pedestrian accident in the 3300 block of Avenue A on June 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 10:34 PM. Based on a report, Garcia was walking on the roadway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Dorthey Taylor southbound on the roadway struck him.
 
As a result, Garcia suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Police did not make any arrests yet.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
