Hilario Alvarado Struck and Killed in Accident on County Road 539 at County Road 543 in Collin County

 
COLLIN COUNTY, TX (June 25, 2023) – Officials identified 35-year-old Hilario Alvarado of Dallas and 65-year-old Rebecca Rigdon who died in an accident on County Road 539 on June 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at County Road 543 around 10:00 AM. Based on a report, a Dodge Durango ran a stop sign at the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
A Dodge Caravan the struck the Durango, causing it to spin and exit the roadway. As it exited the road, it hit Alvarado and another construction worker.
 
As a result, Alvarado sustained grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Rigdon, a passenger in the Durango, also died in the crash.
 
Crews took both drivers of the vehicles to the hospital while the other construction worker was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
