Larry Williams Identified in Fatal Crash Involving Car and Semi-Truck on Southwest 4th Street at South Columbia in Plainview

 
PLAINVIEW, TX (April 17, 2023) – Officers identified Larry Williams of Matador as the victim who died in a semi-truck crash on Southwest 4th Street on April 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at South Columbia shortly before 2:00 PM. Based on a report, Williams was driving through the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
He drove east on 4th Street when he reportedly drove into the path of a semi-truck heading north on Columbia. Subsequently, the two vehicles crashed.
 
As a result, Williams suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Covenant hospital for treatment, where he later died.
 
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
