Larry Richardson Identified in Fatal Crash on FM 2625 at FM 31 in Harrison County

 
HARRISON COUNTY, TX (September 18, 2023) – Officials identified 66-year-old Larry E. Richardson of Elysian Fields who died in a crash on FM 2625 on September 11.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at FM 31 around 9:09 PM. Based on a report, Richardson’s Ford F-150 stopped at the intersection, about five miles southeast of Marshall, prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Richardson failed to yield the right-of-way to the driver of a 2009 International box truck, causing a crash.
 
As a result, Richardson suffered grave injuries. Crews transported him to Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, where he later died.
 
The driver of the box truck was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
