Larrison James Detained, Fatal Phoenix Motorcycle Crash on 19th Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (February 7, 2023) – Officers arrested 32-year-old Larrison James following a hit-and-run crash on 19th Avenue on February 4.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Greenway Parkway around 11:30 PM. Based on a report, James admitted to drinking prior to driving.
Consequently, he collided with a motorcycle, ejecting the rider into the northbound lanes of traffic.
The motorcycle rider died from injuries suffered during the crash.
Subsequently, police said James continued on, made a U-turn, and parked in an apartment complex. Police arrested and booked him into jail on charges including second-degree murder hit-and-run resulting in death or injury.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
