Kyler Devlin Fatally Injured in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident
PHOENIX, AZ (October 23, 2024) — A 29-year-old man identified as Kyler Devlin died in a motorcycle accident on Monday, October 14.
According to the Phoenix Police, the accident took place near 42nd Street and Indian School Road shortly after 6:00 a.m.
The initial investigation determined that Devlin rode a motorcycle near 42nd Street. Then he collided with a Toyota pickup truck trying to turn left onto Indian School Road from a private driveway.
When officers arrived, they found Devlin in critical condition. Despite life-saving measures, he died from sustained injuries at the scene.
Police say Devlin wore a helmet. However, it came off during the accident.
The 44-year-old pickup driver remained on the scene and cooperated in the investigation. Police suspect impairment is a factor.
Authorities temporarily blocked Indian School Road between 40th and 44th during the investigation. It has since reopened.
