Kristen Ladon Meckler Dies After Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Cadet Road

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 26, 2025) – Kristen Ladon Meckler died following a motorcycle crash on Cadet Road on Tuesday afternoon, February 18.

The fatal incident occurred east of Petroleum Club Road at about 5:22 p.m., according to the Taft Police Department.

Authorities stated that a vehicle had slammed into a motorcycle being driven by 55-year-old Meckler, for reasons still undetermined.

The accident left Meckler dead at the scene.

Officials are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the collision.

As the investigation remains in progress, no additional information is released at this time.
