Kevin Hinojosa Dies in Car Crash with Semi-Truck on Highway 395 in Kennewick

 
KENNEWICK, WA (September 30, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of 27-year-old Kevin Hinojosa following a car crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 395.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near the blue bridge around 6:30 PM on September 26.
 
Based on a report, Hinojosa had rear-ended a car prior to the crash. Due to the accident, his Honda HR-V had stalled in the highway. Later on, a semi-truck and trailer loaded with household goods hit the rear of his car.
 
As a result, he died at the scene. The truck driver, 27-year-old Suleiman S. Mohamed of Minkato, Minn., was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
