Kennard Robinson Survives Hit-and-Run Involving Big Rig on Beltway 8 in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (September 11, 2024) – The Houston Police Department identified Kennard Robinson who suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on Beltway 8 on September 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Little York Road. Based on a report, Robinson was just two minutes away from his home at the time of the crash.
 
As he moved towards the intersection on a green light, a big rig blew through the red light and barreled into his white car. Police said the big rig’s driver fled the scene.
 
Kennard survived the incident but he has a few more medical tests to run.
 
Officers ask anyone who knows anything about this hit-and-run accident to call Houston police.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
