Fatal Car Crash on 25 Freeway in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (September 11, 2024) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that one person died in a crash on northbound 25 Freeway on August 30.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened near Santa Fe Drive just after 6:00 PM. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
As a result, the driver of one of the vehicles suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the other driver had minor injuries.
 
Crews closed the northbound lanes between Santa Fe Drive and University Boulevard to give way to a clearing operation.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
