WRIGHTWOOD, CA (January 26, 2024) — Katie Anderson died while another person sustained injuries after a pickup truck crash on Highway 2 on Friday morning, January 19.

The fatal incident involving a silver Honda Civic and a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck occurred at Scrub Oak Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol which responded to the scene at around 10:45 a.m.

Authorities stated that the Civic and Ford had figured in a collision on Highway 2, for reasons still undetermined.

The accident left 23-year-old Anderson dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, another person involved ended up hospitalized in an unknown condition.
