POTTER COUNTY, TX (January 29, 2024) – Cassiopeia Hormann-Wolfe died after a crash on Highway 60 on Monday, January 22.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on both lanes of Highway 60 near Farm to Market Road 1912. It involved a pickup truck driven by Hormann-Wolfe and a truck tractor semi-trailer, police said.

Preliminary investigation reported that while heading westbound on Highway 60, the pickup truck crossed the center and hit the eastbound truck tractor-semi trailer. The impact of the crash caused the truck tractor semi-trailer to roll on its side before resting in the eastbound lane.

22-year-old Hormann-Wolfe was ejected from her vehicle and died at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
