Motorcyclist Justo Jorge Identified in Fatal Parkland Accident on Highway 7

 
PARKLAND, WA (April 1, 2024) – Officials identified 24-year-old Justo Jorge of Auburn who died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 7 on March 20.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Garfield Street South shortly before 4:00 PM. Based on a report, Jorge was driving his motorcycle in one of two lanes of the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a Nissan Rouge carrying three people was in the center turn lane. When the vehicle was turning left and crossing northbound Highway 7, Jorge struck it. Both vehicles came to a rest on the northbound side of the road.
 
As a result, Jorge suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The two passengers of the car were not hurt in the incident
 
Police said the crash totaled both the motorcycle and the Nissan and speed was a primary factor to the crash.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
