Juan Rodriguezramirez Faces Arrest after Head-On Crash on Highway 2 at Highway 97 in Orondo

 
ORONDO, WA (September 5, 2023) – 43-year-old Juan Rodriguezramirez, 65-year-old Richard Townsend and 63-year-old Julie Townsend of Duvall suffered injuries in a crash on Highway on August 18.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 97 shortly before 10:00 PM. Based on a report, Rodriguezramirez was driving a 2006 Mercury Milan northbound on the highway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Richard Townsend was driving a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck southbound. Due to unknown reasons, Rodriguezramirez crossed the centerline and hit the pickup truck.
 
As a result, both men sustained injuries in the incident. Crews took them to Confluence Health Hospital Central Campus along with Julie Townsend.
 
Troopers said Rodriguezramirez will face vehicular assault as well as DUI charges.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
