SANTA CLARITA, CA (March 10, 2023) – Officers identified 44-year-old Juan Avalos of Palmdale as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on northbound 14 Freeway on March 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Agua Dulce Canyon Road around 12:13 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was running across the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Avalos suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
