SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (January 20, 2023) – Officers identified 35-year-old Joshua Schwabe as the victim who suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Pines Road on January 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Mission Avenue.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle struck Schwabe in the lanes. WSP did not yet release any details on what led to the accident.
 
As a result of the crash, emergency crews transported the victim to Sacred Heart Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Police confirmed that there are no pending charges against the driver, 60-year-old Glen Gendron.
