Joshua Duncan Identified in Fatal Rear-End Crash in Gaines County

 
GAINES COUNTY, TX (January 5, 2023) – Officials identified 37-year-old Joshua Duncan as the victim who died in a rear-end crash on Highway 62 on December 12.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 7:00 AM. Based on a report, Duncan was driving west on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Another vehicle was driving behind him. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle crashed into the back of his truck.
 
As a result, Duncan suffered serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics took him to UMC, where he died from his injuries 10 days later.
 
The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. No other information is known at this time.
