TARZANA, CA (February 17, 2025) – Joshua David Hathaway died following a pedestrian crash on 3rd Street early Wednesday morning, February 12.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at around 12:50 a.m.
 
Preliminary investigation indicated that a white vehicle, described as a 2018-2022 model of a Honda Accord, was heading westbound on 3rd Street when it struck 41-year-old Hathaway.
 
Hathaway suffered fatal injuries from the collision, as he later succumbed at a local hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the motorist involved did not render aid, fleeing westbound on 3rd Street.
 
The investigation remains active and open.
