William Hanson Fatally Struck in Fresno Pedestrian Crash

 
FRESNO, CA (February 17, 2025) – William Hanson died following a pedestrian crash on Clinton Avenue on Monday evening, February 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Highway 168 at around 7:40 p.m.
 
Initial investigation indicated that an eastbound Toyota pickup struck 58-year-old Hanson, who had run southbound in an attempt to cross Clinton Avenue.
 
Hanson suffered fatal injuries from the collision, as he later succumbed at Community Regional Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota did not leave the scene, deciding to cooperate with law enforcement.
 
Officials determined that the influence of alcohol and/or drugs did not appear as a contributing factor in the accident.
 
The investigation remains active and open.
