Josh Nichols Dies as Amber Lauren Lievanos, Brody Aaron Bird End Up Arrested After Hit-and-Run on Riverside Drive

 
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (February 26, 2025) – Josh Nichols died, resulting in the arrest of Amber Lauren Lievanos and Brody Aaron Bird in a hit-and-run on Riverside Drive early Tuesday, February 18.

The fatal incident occurred west of Baker Street at around 1:00 a.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities stated that 44-year-old Nichols had been walking on his way home with his dog, Woodson, on Riverside Drive.

For reasons still undetermined, a dark-colored vehicle had slammed into Nichols.

The accident left Nichols dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, Woodson remains missing.

The occupants of the vehicle did not render aid, fleeing the collision site.

On February 20, law enforcement tracked down and arrested 20-year-old Lievanos and 20-year-old Bird

Lievanos and Bird would then be booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for vehicular manslaughter and accessory after the fact, respectively.

The case is still under investigation.
