Joseph Ayala Killed in Car Crash on Joe Battle Boulevard at Pellicano Drive [El Paso, TX]

Joseph Ayala Identified in Fatal El Paso Car Crash

 
EL PASO, TX (July 11, 2023) – Police identified 37-year-old Joseph Isaac Ayala of El Paso who died in a multi-car crash on Joe Battle Boulevard on July 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Pellicano Drive at approximately 4:18 AM. Based on the report, Ayala was driving a Chevrolet Astro van on Joe Battle Boulevard prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Ayala’s van struck a Honda Accord from behind. Subsequently, the van spun and ended up facing the wrong way of traffic, where a pickup truck hit it head-on.
 
As a result, Ayala sustained grave injuries and died at the hospital.
 
Crews also took the other two drivers to the hospital for treatment.
 
Currently, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
