Adam Gregory, Andrew Machalik Identified in Tucson Motorcycle Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (July 11, 2023) – The Tucson Police Department identified 48-year-old Andrew Machalik and 38-year-old Adam Robert Gregory who died in a motorcycle accident on Wrightstown Road on July 2.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 2:30 PM. Based on a report, both riders were traveling eastbound on East Wrightstown Road, close to where Wrightstown Road turns into Harrison Road.
 
Gregory was driving ahead of Machalik on his black and white 2017 Yamaha SCR950 motorcycle prior to the crash.
 
As Gregory successfully navigated a tricky curve, he started riding southbound. Machalik however failed to negotiate the curve, drifted into the center lane, struck the concrete barrier in the center of the roadway, and ultimately collided with the rear of Gregory’s motorcycle.
 
As a result, both riders sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
