Jose Morales-Rosas Killed after Chelan Car Crash on Highway 150

 
CHELAN, WA (April 9, 2024) — Jose Morales-Rosas suffered fatal injuries in a two-car accident on Sunday, March 31.
 
According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Mateo Villa-Morales drove a Honda Accord on Highway 150 with Morales-Rosas as his passenger.
 
Then they traveled at a high rate of speed toward a curve and then swerved. It resulted in the Honda crashing into a Toyota Tundra with five occupants.
 
Responding officers pronounced Morales-Rosas dead at the crash site. Meanwhile, they airlifted Villa-Morales to a local hospital via helicopter with life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver and four passengers of the truck also sustained non-critical injuries. They also received treatment at a local hospital.
 
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the accident as a potential DUI and vehicular homicide.
