FORT WORTH, TX (April 9, 2024) — Four people suffered serious injuries in a trolley accident at Eagle Mountain Lake on Saturday, March 30.
 
According to the Briar-Reno Fire Department, the accident happened shortly after noon in the 6100 block of Park Road in unincorporated Tarrant County.
 
A trolley designed to transport people to the dock malfunctioned and fell about 25 feet off the cliff.
 
The impact ejected all four occupants. An adult person sustained life-threatening injuries. Another adult and two minors suffered injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed those injured to Texas Health Resources, Druxman said.
 
The identities of the injured victims were not immediately available.
