John Morrison Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Highway 2 in Peshastin

 
PESHASTIN, WA (September 12, 2023) – Officers identified 48-year-old John Morrison of Arlington who suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 2 on September 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Leavenworth. Based on a report, Morrison was riding his motorcycle along the highway at the time of the crash.
 
As he slowed down for traffic, 20-year-old Ben Patchen of East Wenatchee hit him from behind with his SUV.
 
As a result, Morrison sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took him to a Wenatchee hospital for treatment.
 
Patchen wasn’t hurt but he was given a ticket for following too closely.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
