PHOENIX, AZ (June 26, 2023) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 67-year-old John Guagliano who died in a bicycle accident on 7th Street on June 25.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Camelback Road shortly after 3:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was riding south on 7th near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him and left the scene. Subsequently, another vehicle hit him while he was down on the road. The second driver also fled the scene afterward.
 
As a result, Guagliano suffered critical injuries in the incident. First responders took him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Authorities ask that anyone with information contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness.
