88-Year-Old Nadeen Montez Identified in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Mission Road in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (June 26, 2023) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department identified 88-year-old Nadeen Montez who died in a hit-and-run crash on Mission Road on June 24.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Irvington Road around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, Montez was traveling west on Irvington Place at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she ran a stop sign and was hit by a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The driver of the pick-up truck the scene fled the scene afterward.
 
As a result, Montez suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
As of now, officers ask anyone with information about the driver to call 911 or 88-CRIME. In addition, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
