Joe Palacios Identified in Fatal Car Accident in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 30, 2022) – Police identified 26-year-old Joe Palacios as the victim who died in a car accident on West Commerce Street on October 26.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Northwest 36th Street.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle driving near the intersection crashed into a utility pole.
 
As a result, the crash trapped Palacios in the car’s passenger inside. Firefighters were able to cut him out of the vehicle and rush him to the hospital, but he died a short time later.
 
Police took the driver into custody for intoxication manslaughter charges. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
