Kevin O’Brien, Jessica Ramirez Killed in San Bernardino Head-On Crash

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 3, 2023) — Two drivers, 33-year-old Jessica L. Ramirez from Helendale and 65-year-old Kevin C. O’Brien from San Marcos, died in a head-on car crash on Wednesday, April 26.
 
The incident involving three vehicles happened on Cajon Boulevard near Keenbrook Road.
 
Just after 1:15 p.m., Ramirez traveled northbound in a 2017 Hyundai. She crossed over double-yellow lines and went into the southbound lanes. After that, Ramirez then rear-ended a 2015 Toyota before she crashed head-on with O’Brien’s pickup truck.
 
CHP Officer Ivan Sandoval said Ramirez and O’Brien died at the scene.
 
The third driver had minor injuries.
 
The CHP continues to investigate why Ramirez went into opposing lanes.
