Jessica Carreon Involved in DUI Accident on Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 6, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested 35-year-old Jessica Carreon following an accident on Decatur Boulevard on July 19.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Alta Drive at Tropicana Avenue around 11:30 PM. Based on a report, Carreon was in a Chevrolet Malibu stopped northbound on Decatur Boulevard at a red left turn signal.
 
At the same time, a Lexus GS350 was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Decatur Boulevard approaching a green light. Due to unknown reasons, Carreon ran the red light and turned left. A crash occurred when she entered the Lexus’ path. The Lexus hit her Chevrolet, causing it to redirect and hit a pedestrian standing on the sidewalk.
 
As a result, the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment. They also transported Carreon and the driver of the Lexus to the hospital.
 
Police later arrested Carreon after she showed signs of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
