Jeremiah Hessling Identified in Fatal Clarkston Motorcycle Accident

 
CLARKSTON, WA (August 2, 2023) – The Asotin County Coroner’s Office identified 46-year-old Jeremiah M. Hessling of Pomeroy who died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 12 on July 19.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at about 5 miles west of Clarkston shortly before noon. Based on a report, Hessling was driving his 1992 Honda motorcycle west on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
At the same time, 33-year-old Jamie M. Lockie of Pomeroy was traveling eastbound. Due to unknown reasons, Hessling e crossed the centerline to pass a commercial vehicle. He then collided with Lockie.
 
As a result, Hessling sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
