EASTON, WA (August 15, 2023) – Officials identified 34-year-old Jeffrey Button of Issaquah who died in a motorcycle accident on 90 Freeway on August 3.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near milepost 68 around 5:14 PM. Based on a report, Button was riding a motorcycle westbound on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a semi-truck was traveling on the same path. As the truck was trying to switch lanes, Button crashed into it.
 
As a result, Button sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
 
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene until troopers arrived.
