LOS ANGELES, CA (January 20, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department arrested 52-year-old Jamie Koz after a hit-and-run in the 1300 block of Maltman Avenue on January 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Silver Lake Boulevard, where he initially crashed into several cars.
 
Based on a report, the suspect drove his Tesla in reverse as people at the scene tried to stop him. Video evidence captured the vehicle backing up, hitting at least two people as he sped away from the scene.
 
As a result, one person suffered critical injuries. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in stable condition. The second person did not require hospitalization.
 
Police arrested Koz for felony DUI.
