Romieo Narvaez, Brenda Cazarez, Randolph Jackson Hurt in Fatal Arvin Crash

 
ARVIN, CA (January 20, 2023) – Officers identified the three people who were hurt in a fatal rollover crash on Herring Road on January 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Edison Road. Based on a report, 22-year-old Romieo Narvaez was driving a 2006 Infinity car westbound on Herring Road prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of the car and went into the eastbound lane before driving into a dirt field. There, the car rolled and flipped multiple times before landing on its roof and ejecting Narvaez and his three passengers.
 
As a result, one of the passengers died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending next of kin notification.
 
Narvaez and 22-year-old Brenda Cazarez suffered major injuries. Another passenger, 19-year-old Randolph Jackson had minor to moderate injuries. Crews took them to Kern Medical Center for treatment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
