Jaime Trevino Killed, Three Hospitalized in Multi-Car Accident in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (February 6, 2024) — A 26-year-old man, Jaime Trevino, died in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday, January 26.
 
According to the Phoenix police, the accident happened in the area of Tatum Boulevard and Greenway Road just before 11:45 p.m.
 
Detectives said Trevino drove west on Greenway Road. Then he veered into oncoming traffic and struck an SUV moving east. After that, the SUV crashed into a third vehicle before it came to rest.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Trevino with serious injuries sustained from the incident. Phoenix Fire administered medical aid. However, Trevino died at the scene, police said.
 
Paramedics rushed three people from a second vehicle to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
The people in the third vehicle reportedly left the scene before officers arrived.
 
Police haven’t said if they suspect impairment as a factor in the accident.
