Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 6 in Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 5, 2023) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 27-year-old man with an intellectual disability died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 6 on June 1.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Forest Trails Drive shortly after 7:00 PM. Based on a report, he man was on the highway without supervision at the time of the incident.
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
The man suffered grave injuries as a result of the crash. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and as of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
