Semi-Truck Hits, Kills Woman in Pedestrian Accident on Sheldon Road [Channelview, TX]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by 18-Wheeler on Sheldon Road at Langcart Street in Channelview

 
CHANNELVIEW, TX (June 5, 2023) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that an 18-wheeler semi-truck was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on Sheldon Road on June 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Langcart Street. Based on a report, the 18-wheeler struck the woman who was at the intersection at the time of the incident.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The crash also closed the southbound lanes on Sheldon while crews worked on the wreck.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
