Ignacio Razo Struck, Killed on Taft Highway in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 6, 2023) – The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified 33-year-old Ignacio Alejandro Razo of Bakersfield who died in a pedestrian accident on Taft Highway (Highway 119) on May 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Hughes Lane around 10:07 PM. Based on a report, Razo was walking near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Razo suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Kern Medical, where he later died.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
